It's A Shame To Pay More Income Tax Than Necessary! Write-Off Almost Anything

The truth is, having a home-based business is one of the least understood tax loopholes. There’s a big chance you’re leaving a lot of money on the table. 

In March 2020, I came up with the idea of writing a book during the Pandemic about Home Business Tax Write-Offs. Taking a topic about taxes and documenting it in an easy read book was fun and challenging. I never wrote a book before.

I wanted something that was written by an entrepreneur for entrepreneurs. A book that the reader would finish feeling empowered, have some new knowledge and thinking to themselves “taxes is not that scary”. 

I also thought a book would be a great compliment to the Home Business Tax Secrets Course & Productivity System as I could reach a much larger audience, and still have the course available in the background for those that need extra personalized coaching, productivity tools and support.

The best part of the book experience was AFTER it was published, and I started getting reader feedback. People were reaching out to me through social media and searching me on Google.

In February 2021 talked with Wendell from North Carolina. He had just read my book and wanted to ask me a few questions about his tax situation based on the new information he learned in my book. 

Fast forward eight months later, the evening of November 27, 2021 my phone rings. It's Wendell, all these months later. He was just leaving the bank and felt the need to give me a call.

Wendell had just deposited a $17,000 check into his bank account. A check he received from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for the amendment he filed six months ago, on his 2017 taxes. He’s still waiting for his 2018 and 2019 amendments to be processed.

He said it was the encouragement I gave him and what he learned from my book that gave him the confidence to do this. It’s stories like this that make all this worthwhile. There are so many who are doing this.

It's not the government’s responsibility to point out what you are missing for legitimate home-based deductions; and most tax preparers do not proactively advise their clients on these tax write-offs.
